In October this year, it will be 60 years since the Beatles came to Sweden which interestingly enough was also their very first overseas tour, with visits to five Swedish cities; Stockholm, Eskilstuna, Karlstad, Borås and Gothenburg.

They also spent several days in Stockholm and at this time they were still unknown to the general public and could walk around the city without people taking much notice of them - apart from a few fans mostly in the younger teens who recognized these new British shooting stars, most of whom also took the opportunity to take the guys' AUTOGRAPHS.

In Borås, in addition to the gig in Boråshallen on 28 October, the BEATLES also signed their new records earlier that day at local music store Waidele.
