The film is for the most part a reportage partly of the Russian-Nordic amateur boxing in Kungl. Hallen, Stockholm, on April 1, 1960, partly of the professional boxing in Mässhallen, Gothenburg, on April 3, 1960 with matches between i.a. light heavyweights Risberg, Sweden, and Whittaker, England, and heavyweights Åhsman, Sweden, and Alonzo Johnson, USA.
A final section of the film contains some interviews with Ingemar Johansson before his upcoming return match in World Championship boxing as well as some glimpses of Johansson's World Championship match against Floyd Patterson in New York in June 1959.
