A beautiful UK original copy on yellow/black Parlophone labels. The second of the three rare Export issues derived from the bastardized US Beatles albums on Capitol.
1966 issue with "THE GRAMOPHONE CO." rim and year(s) printed "℗ 1963" and "℗ 1964".
This title was exported to Scandinavia, foremost Sweden(and possibly also to the US and Canada).
Pretty strange issues to say the least..
MADE in the UK but NOT released there at all, simply copies of US releases - a jumble of only 11 tracks thrown together, here from both 1963-64 including several hit singles.
And then SOLD in the country of origin, or to one which already imported - the US Capitol-originals(!).
Even stranger, these were made in very limited quantities, probably no more than a couple of thousand - explaining their scarcity.
With so few copies, why even bother making them at all?
With Garrod & Lofthouse laminated flipback sleeve, complete with the EMI-tex inner sleeve.
These export albums were released in stereo ONLY.
