An original, one-sided tin metal mother matrix for the A-side of the Hollies´ 45 single "Stay/Now´s the time".
This is actually THE very template that was used in the manufacture of the swedish pressing of this, their FIRST single in this country. It´s also POSITIVE and therefore PLAYABLE. You can also see the original matrix no in the run-out groove, which corresponds perfectly with the finished product (see images).
Stored in its original stickered cardboard mailer that was sent out to EMI, still with the original handwritten dates and title annotations on it(6/2-64).
The matrix itself still retains some dust and old fingerprints as we haven´t cleaned or treated it in any way as we want to leave any such decision to the potential buyer. All in all, everything in a very nice original condition.
So, this is your chance to own a unique piece of music history!
