A simply astounding copy of the original issue on Track, the records are breathtaking, the sleeve as well retaining its ´as new´ high gloss without any ringwear to it. Truly a joy to behold!
The version with the WHITE letters inside gatefold. According to a record company executive the reason behind the change of design was that Mitch and Noel were unhappy with their images being so small compared with the one on Jimi, which subsequently were corrected with the latter, considerably larger ones.
The alteration to blue text was then just a more fitting choice for the overall design.
In any case this quite simple yet obvious explanation indicates that the blue text version came AFTER this white one which and thus clearly shows that this is a first pressing.
